Homage to an Argentine hero (and queer icon)

Opened in 2002, 50 years to the day after the death of the icon Argentinians and Madonna fans know as Evita, this terrific and multi-faceted museum reveals the many shades of the former First Lady's life. The gorgeous building is a converted century-old Palermo mansion.
